Children’s Studio Sessions
These sessions with Chloe are designed for one child or siblings, offering a gentle, supportive space outside of the traditional counselling setting.
Rather than sitting in an office, sessions take place within the studio and include interactive, hands-on activities that help children feel safe, engaged and open to exploring their emotions.

Frequently asked questions
Who are these sessions suitable for? These sessions are suitable for children who may be experiencing big emotions, anxiety, low confidence, difficulty regulating feelings, or challenges in relationships. They are also a wonderful support for sensitive children, big feelers, or those who would benefit from building emotional awareness, confidence and connection.
Can siblings attend together? Yes - sessions can be booked for one child or siblings. When siblings attend together, we can gently explore their relationship, support communication and help them understand each other’s feelings. If there are no specific challenges, it can also be a beautiful opportunity for them to connect and feel safe being vulnerable together.
What happens during a session? Sessions are interactive and tailored to each child’s needs. Rather than sitting and talking, we use a combination of: •activities •body awareness techniques •creative expression •emotional regulation tools Each session is guided by the child, helping them feel comfortable, supported and engaged.
Does my child need to talk about their feelings? Not at all. There is no pressure for children to talk before they feel ready. Many children express themselves through play, movement or activities, and we gently support this process in a way that feels natural and safe for them.
What if my child is shy or anxious? This is very common and completely okay. Sessions are designed to be gentle and child-led, allowing children to warm up in their own time. Building trust and connection is always the first priority.
Will I receive feedback after the session? Yes. Parents will receive a follow-up email outlining themes and suggested strategies, and there is also the option for a follow-up conversation to further support your child at home.
How many sessions will my child need? This depends on your child’s individual needs. Some families attend for short-term support, while others choose ongoing sessions to continue building confidence, emotional awareness and regulation skills over time.
How are these sessions different from traditional counselling? These sessions are interactive and take place within the studio rather than a traditional office setting. They focus on helping children feel safe and supported while using activities, body awareness and practical tools to build emotional understanding and confidence.
Do I need to prepare anything before the session? If your child is new, you will be sent a short intake form prior to your first session. This helps create a personalised and supportive experience from the beginning. Otherwise, just bring your child as they are.
What if my child doesn’t engage? Children engage in different ways, and that’s completely okay. Sessions are adapted to meet each child where they are at. Sometimes engagement looks like quiet observation before participation, and that is all part of the process.
Where are sessions held? Sessions take place at Pure Wonder Soul Studio, a calm and welcoming space designed to support children to feel safe, relaxed and comfortable.
